AJ and I are excited to share that we are going Zambia for a year! We will be volunteering at an orphanage called Grace Academy through the organization Seeds of Hopehttp://seedsofhopecm.com. AJ will be the construction manager. He will be training and teaching a group of Zambian men modern construction methods. I (Laura) will find a place to volunteer once we have settled in. There are a few different areas for me to serve in the school or orphanage.
Levi and Lucas will be coming along with us, but our two older children have decided to stay home and continue with their post secondary education. I’m already counting down the days til they come visit us!
We are busy now getting all our ducks in a row before we leave. On the to do list is international drivers licenses, finding a renter for our house for the year, enrolling the kids in online school, passports, work permits, fundraising!! The list is long!
